GENERAL
BEFORE YOU OPERATE
Always keep in mind the CAUTIONS and WARNINGS. Perform your before (B) PMCS.
WHILE YOU OPERATE
Always keep in mind the CAUTIONS and WARNINGS. Perform your during (D) PMCS.
AFTER YOU OPERATE
Be sure to perform your after (A) PMCS.
IF YOUR EQUIPMENT FAILS TO OPERATE
Check troubleshooting procedures.
ROUTINE CHECKS
Routine checks such as cleaning, dusting, stowing items not in use and checking for loose nuts, bolts, mounting
and the like are not listed as PMCS checks. You should do these things anytime you see they must be done.
NOTE
Use the ITEM NO. column in your PMCS table to get the number for
the TM ITEM NO. column on DA Form 2404 (Equipment inspection
and Maintenance Worksheet) when you fill out the form.
