PRELIMINARY OPERATIONAL CHECKS
The following steps are to check that the front panel switches provide the proper indications on the front panel indicators.
Step (1)
Place the POWER-OFF switch in the POWER position. Random indication appears.
Step (2)
With TUNING AUTO and EXT switches out, AUTO appears on indicator, LOCK blinks and LEVEL
or
LEVEL may light.
Step (3)
Depress TUNING AUTO switch. Same indications as in step (2) above are displayed.
Step (4)
Depress TUNING EXT switch. Same as steps (1) and (2) above except EXT is displayed instead of
AUTO.
