APPENDIX B
MAINTENANCE ALLOCATION
Section I. INTRODUCTION
B-1 . GENERAL
This appendix provides a summary of the maintenance operations for the Output Meter TS-585(*)/U. It
authorizes categories of maintenance for specific maintenance functions on repairable items and com-
ponents and the tools and equipment required to perform each function. This appendix may be used
as an aid in planning maintenance operations.
The Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC) in Section II designates overall authority and
b.
responsibility for the performance of maintenance functions on the identified end item or
component. The application of the maintenance functions to the end item or component will
be consistent with the capacities and capabilities of the designated maintenance
categories.
c.
Section Ill lists the tools and test equipment (both special tools and common tool sets)
required for each maintenance function as referenced from Section Il.
d.
Section IV contains supplemental instructions and explanatory notes for a particular
maintenance function.
